Welcome to Merch Pursuits Income Report #4.
This has been one heck of a month.
Welcome back to another Merch Pursuits income report!
I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving. I hope took time out of your busy schedule to visit family, eat great food, and just take a day or two to relax before the Christmas holiday season. I know I did.
Are you using Amazon Autocomplete during your Merch research?
If you’re not – you really should be.
This is a neat trick I stumbled upon recently, and it’s helped me come up with hundreds of new shirt ideas and keywords instantly.
I just wanted to quickly go over one of the coolest, most useful tools on the Merch market today. It’s called Merch Informer. It’s free to try out, and once you do, I don’t think you’ll ever go back to the old way of researching t-shirt designs.
And plus – it takes less than 15 minutes to sign up!
It’s hard to believe it’s already been a month since my last income report, isn’t it? But I’ve got some awesome news! This month turned out to be even better than last month.
I sold more shirts, I made more money, and I made some changes on my research processes.
For most people, the basic Photoshop fonts just don’t cut it. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with them, and some of them are okay – but most of them just don’t look right on a t-shirt.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve spent a lot of time looking for the perfect font to use on my shirts. Time that I should have been dedicating to cranking out new designs.
So, I made things a little easier for you. I went through Dafont.com (the largest font downloading website), and spent a few hours this morning compiling a huge list of good-looking free fonts for you to use. I’ll be adding more as I find them, so bookmark this page and check back whenever you need a little font inspiration.
You’ve waited months for your invite, you’ve spent hours researching t-shirt ideas and coming up some designs, and now you find yourself asking…
Why am I not getting any sales?
I know, I’ve been there. It’s easy to blame Amazon. I get it. You see people all over Facebook groups killing it on Merch; why aren’t you having the same success?
I know it’s been a few weeks since my last post, and for that, I apologize. Life’s gotten a little busy for me these past few weeks. My daughter just turned five years old this past weekend, and we’ve got a 6 month old in the house, so needless to say – we keep pretty busy!
But I do have some exciting news: I’m going to start doing monthly income reports. I haven’t came across many of these starting from Month 1.
Welcome back to MerchPursuits.com. Thanks to my latest Getting Started and Optimizing Product Descriptions posts, my inbox has been flooded. Which I guess is a good thing! I’ll be sure to keep the posts coming.
Today, I’m going to answer a question that I’ve gotten countless emails about: How To Do Merch by Amazon Research.
