A 3 Month (No-Upload) Merch By Amazon Income Report / Case Study

Welcome back to another Merch Pursuits income report! It’s been 3 months since my last one, so I’m really excited to be creating another for you. I’m sure you’re all wondering why I haven’t created one recently, but don’t worry, everything you need to know has been included in this post.

Before I get into those reasons, I wanted to point out that it has nothing to do with lack of sales. In fact, these last 3 months have been the best months I’ve ever had!

So, if that’s the case, what have I been up exactly?

Merch Pursuits Gets A Fresh New Look!

I had some unexpected freetime over the past few days (pretty serious dog bite to the hand), so I decided to give Merch Pursuits a much-needed rehaul. I hope you like the changes as much as I do!

New logo, new website theme, and a much better user experience for mobile readers. I also added a pretty cool Merch Pursuits timeline for all my old posts.

Even with one hand, I still have Merch on the mind, and that’s not going to change anytime soon!

Merch Income Report #8-Recovered

Stop Switching Tabs; Start Using Merch Check!

A few months ago, I was introduced to a Chrome Extension called Merch Check.

What is Merch Check, you ask?

Merch Check is a simple Chrome extension that allows you to check the copyright of a word, phrase, or quote without ever having to leave the webpage you are on! Whatever phrase you type in is automatically checked against the uspto.gov (TESS) database of officially registered trademarks.

Merch Income Report #8: My First $1,000 Month!

Hi everyone!

It’s time for yet another Merch Pursuits income report! This post has been a long time coming. As the title suggest, I’m happy to report that after just 8 short months on Merch by Amazon – I have finally hit $1,000 in [organic] t-shirt sales!

And by organic, I mean I have done zero marketing or zero social media sharing. I literally wake up, log into Merch, and see if any designs have sold.

How To Quickly Change The Price of ‘Pending Removal’ T-Shirts

Update 5/1/17: I just discovered an incredibly handy Chrome extension called MerchTools. MerchTools simplifies the process of bulk editing t-shirt prices, but this post will go into detail about why it’s important to change prices of unsold designs, so you should still read through this post. I’m adding MerchTools to my Resources page, and will be reviewing it in-depth soon.

A few weeks ago, I wrote about a simple method I use to “rescue” t-shirts that were about to be removed by Amazon. I’ve gotten a few emails about that, so I decided to turn it into a short blog post. I’ve had some pretty decent success with this method, so I thought I’d share.
